Contract Opportunity: Cybersecurity Engineer (100% On-Site) – Local Candidates Only

Position Details:

  • Location: 100% On-Site in Manhattan (Local Candidates Only)
  • Interview Process with the client:
    ○ 1st Round: Video Interview
    ○ 2nd Round: On-Site Interview
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and manage cybersecurity technologies (e.g., CyberArk, Tenable, Trend Micro, RSA SecureID, Splunk)
  • Support upgrades on infrastructure to enhance cybersecurity capabilities
  • Propose system architecture and assist in technology planning
  • Configure, test, and implement cybersecurity solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on deployment and integration
  • Create and maintain documentation, procedures, and user guides
  • Provide training and support to team members on new systems
  • Perform routine patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required (valid driver's license needed)
  • Capable of lifting/transporting server equipment when needed

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

  • Hands-on experience in a cybersecurity team or with cybersecurity-related functions
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement and business decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work off-hours and travel to other company locations
Preferred/"Nice to Have" Skills:
  • Experience with antivirus solutions such as Trend Micro Deep Security
  • Familiarity with RSA SecureID
  • Experience using Splunk for log analysis and threat detection
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Previous experience documenting procedures or training others
