Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Network Transformation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex Telecommunications Network Modernization initiative. This role requires deep technical expertise in legacy and modern communication circuit technologies and a strong background in managing large-scale circuit migration projects involving both fiber and wireless solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of TDM, Ethernet, MPLS, E-Line, and E-LAN technologies, and demonstrate exceptional coordination and leadership abilities to drive results across multi-site environments.

Location: Hybrid (New York City Metro Area Residents Only)
Duration: 12+ Months (with potential for extension)

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of network transformation projects, focusing on the migration of legacy circuits (POTS, 56K, T1) to modern platforms (MPLS, Ethernet, E-Line, E-LAN)
• Coordinate with internal teams, telecom, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery, installation, and testing of new fiber and wireless circuits
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources across multiple locations and stakeholders, driving optimization under tight timelines
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and other project management tools
• Facilitate recurring project status meetings and provide concise, actionable updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with technical requirements, business goals, and operational timelines
• Support dynamic project needs with a quick learning curve and flexible problem-solving approach

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• 5+ years of project management experience in telecommunications or network infrastructure
• Strong understanding of TDM, Ethernet, MPLS, E-Line, and E-LAN technologies
• Proven experience with circuit migration projects, including fiber and wireless
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel - including pivot tables, SharePoint, Teams)
• Excellent communication skills to interface with technical and executive stakeholders
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently under pressure
• Proven experience managing project budgets and resource allocations

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., NERC/CIP compliance)
• Familiarity with telecom carrier coordination, circuit provisioning, and site survey documentation

• Must Have:
  ○ Circuit management (POTS, 56K, T1)
  ○ Multi-site project coordination (scope, budget, schedule, resources)
  ○ MS 365 Proficiency: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Project
  ○ Deep knowledge of TDM, Ethernet, MPLS, E-Line, E-LAN
• Nice to have:
  ○ Experience with regulatory compliance (NERC/CIP)
  ○ PMP Certification
