Are you a dynamic and experienced Project Manager passionate about IT Infrastructure and Operations? We seek a Senior IT Project Manager Consultant to lead and oversee complex projects within our Client's IT I&O Portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of Project Management principles and tools and hands-on experience in network diagram reading, circuit ordering, data center builds, and more. We want to hear from you if you have the leadership skills, technical knowledge, and ability to drive results in a collaborative environment!

This position is Hybrid in Brooklyn, and the Consultant MUST BE IN THE NEW YORK CITY METROPOLITAN AREA. Candidates from other areas wouldn't be considered. Must be able to start ASAP!

Job Summary

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will manage budgets, track team goals, coordinate and lead planning meetings, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. You will work closely with various technical teams to deliver design specifications and deliverables to our business units. You must have the breadth and depth of knowledge to earn the respect of the technical project teams and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to projects in the IT I&O Portfolio.
  • Manage budgets and track team goals.
  • Coordinate and lead team planning meetings.
  • Deliver design specifications and deliverables to business units.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus and drive results.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned by your manager.

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

Required Work Experience

  • Candidate must have the following knowledge and experience: network diagram reading and creation, circuit ordering and installation, data center builds and maintenance, cable types and connectors, carrier and company premises equipment (CPE), equipment refresh sequence, Visio, and MS Project. They will also complete any additional projects as assigned by their manager.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to see the big picture and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities.
